Cliff Johns serves as Director and Board Secretary for GUARD Against Trafficking, Inc. (GUARD), where he participates in field research and project efforts across North, Central, and South America. As an invited speaker, he provides community awareness training and chairs GUARD’s Fundraising Committee. A veteran international business leader with over four decades of experience, Mr. Johns founded and served as President of two globally-reaching companies: VESCO Engineering, Inc. and TubeMaster, Inc. He is the inventor of the world’s first automation device for catalyst-handling and holds more than 100 patents for automation and robotic technologies deployed in petrochemical plants on five continents. A former U.S. Navy nuclear-powered fast-attack submarine serviceman, Mr. Johns brings technical precision and mission-driven focus to his work. Beyond his professional and advocacy roles, he is an avid cyclist, sailor, and passionate writer.
