PURPOSE:   To document the team financial policy for Rotary Year 2025-2026.  This policy should be reviewed and updated for Rotary Year 2026-2027.
 
FINANCIAL OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE: Nico Reschke, Kevin Mill, Pongsawart Niyomca and Jerry Nelson constitute the Financial Oversight Committee.  This is an ad-hoc committee which will meet as required to discuss and make recommendations about team fiscal policy.
 
ACCOUNTS:   The team has two bank accounts:
 
  1. Operations Account, Bank of Bangkok account 531-0-93289-1, Gerald Edward Nelson & Pongsawart Niyomca
  2. Projects Account, Bank of Bangkok account 390-4-85760-8, Pongsawart Niyomca & Gerald Edward Nelson
 
CASH FLOW:  See the attached Cash Flow document.  Basically, money from Events and Fundraisers go directly to the programs account.  Money from donations goes to either the programs account or the operations account.  Money from Website advertising goes to the operations account.
When the operations account has a balance beyond the budgeted amount for operations and admin, the surplus is transferred to the programs account.
Funding for projects is disbursed from the programs account.  Currently the Peace Culture Foundation training is the #1 priority.
DISCRETION: 
 
  • The coordinator has the discretion to spend up to 3,000 without prior approval.
  • The financial oversight team can authorize expenditures up to 5,000
  • Expenditures over 5,000 must be approved by the team.
